The tips of our designer Carolina Otaduy to achieve the best balance between body and mind.


  • Tip number 1: Meditate every morning.

Just when you wake up, visualize how you want to spend your day and dedicate a few minutes to meditate. Ideally, do this before you start your day as your body is still in a state of wakefulness and the mind has not been burdened with thoughts.

You can start counting your breaths from 1 to 7, there will be times when thoughts will come to you, but you have to be aware and let them pass. You will get resistance and it is important not to be too hard on yourself, but when those thoughts come, be aware that they have come, let them pass and continue counting your breaths. Assume that this is normal and is part of the process.

Carolina tells us that meditation has changed her life mentally, physically and emotionally. It has helped her to be more aware of her emotions and in the long run, to relativize everything.

  • Tip number 2: Connect with nature.

The fast pace of the city makes us forget the essentials, and it is important to find your moment, Carolina loves to take off her shoes and walk barefoot on the wet grass, along the seashore...

Especially when you are preparing for your wedding this tip is a great ally as it helps you connect with your emotions and needs while you are in your body. 

  • Tip number 3: Find your time to take care of yourself. 

Carolina loves salt baths. She recommends filling the bathtub with 2 kilos of coarse salt, not iodised, as the osmosis generated by the salt water and blood detoxifies and makes your liver work less and relaxes you, as well as leaving you with great skin. And if you want to go one step further, add essential oils to complete your ritual.
